10 kisah Kelahiran yang Unik dan Aneh
1. Wanita yang melahirkan anak-anak dengan waktu kelahiran yang unik
Seorang ibu rumah tangga di Michigan bernama Barbara Sopher, merayakan ulang tahun putrinya, Cearra pada tanggal 10, bulan 10, tahun 2010 (10/10/10), diikuti dengan putranya yang lahir pada tanggal 9, bulan 9, tahun 2009 (09/09/09), dan seorang lagi putrinya yang lahir pada tanggal 8, bulan 8, tahun 2008 (08/08/08). Memang sungguh benar-benar aneh, namun Barbara mengaku bahwa ia dan suaminya tidak pernah merencanakan pola kelahiran anak-anaknya yang unik tersebut.
2. Bayi yang lahir jam 1:11 pada 01.11.2011
Seorang wanita di Minnesota melahirkan tepat pada jam 1.11 a.m, selasa, 11 Januari 2011. Mereka melihat pada jam di saat detik-detik peristiwa kelahiran putri mereka.
3. Saudari kembar yang melahirkan di hari dan di rumah sakit yang sama
Amy Gilbert dan Allison Oliverio yang keduanya berusia 25 tahun, keduanya sama-sama melahirkan di rumah sakit yang sama di kamar yang bersebelahan. Proses melahirkan mereka juga ditangani oleh dokter yang sama. Amy melahirkan bayi yang dinamai Claire, dan Allison melahirkan bayi bernama Garret. Dahulu keduanya menikahi kekasih mereka di masa SMU, dan beda waktu pernikahan mereka berjarak 6 bulan. Mereka mengaku bahwa mereka tidak merencanakan untuk hamil bersama. Dan uniknya, beda kelahiran anaknya berbeda waktu 14 menit, beda beratnya 1 pound, dan beda ukuran tubuhnya 1 inchi.

Ines Ramirez adalah satu-satunya wanita yang diketahui melakukan operasi caesar sendiri pada proses melahirkan anaknya. Saat itu malam sudah tiba, klinik terdekat berjarak 80 km, sementara suaminya sedang berada di kantin dan tidak ada telepon untuk menghubunginya. Di saat itu, ibu beranak 6 berumur 40 tahun itu terbaring di kursi kayu, dia mengambil alkohol dan sebuah pisau dan mulai memotong perutnya. Dengan penerangan lampu seadanya, dia mulai mengiris sampai ke dalam uterus dan menarik bayi laki-laki dari dalam perutnya. Setelah memotong tali pusar sang bayi, akhirnya dia pingsan, dan setelah sadar kembali, dia menutup luka di perutnya dengan sweater dan menyuruh putranya yang berusia 6 tahun untuk meminta pertolongan. Beberapa jam kemudian, seorang asisten kesehatan datang dan membawanya ke klinik dengan menempuh waktu 2 jam.

Belinda Waite, 21, telah beberapa kali datang ke rumah sakit setempat selama 9 bulan terakhir dan dia diberitahu bahwa dia memiliki gangguan kehamilan yang serius. True Story- Man marries dog to lift curse
We have all heard the 'man bites dog' stories, but how about a real-life 'man marries dog' tale!
This one takes the biscuit, and it could only happen in India, the land of the Kama Sutra.
But you won't find this kind of love story between man and beast in the ancient Indian sex manual.
It took place for real during a traditional hindu ceremony at a temple in the southern state of Tamil Nadu.
The groom in question was a 33-year-old Indian farmer named Selvakumar, and he was wed to a female dog named Selvi.
He married his four legged bitch to atone for stoning two other dogs to death and stringing them up in a tree 15 years ago.
He believed the act cursed him and he had been suffering ever since, he told the Hindustan Times.
After he stoned the dogs he said his legs and hands got paralysed, he lost hearing in one ear, and his speech was impaired.
With doctors unable to help him, Selvakumar turned to an astrologer who told him he was cursed by the spirits of the dogs he had killed.
He could undo the curse only if he married a dog and live with it, the soothsayer warned.
Family members chose a stray female dog who was then bathed and clothed for the wedding occasion.
Selvi the bride was brought to the temple by village women and a Hindu priest conducted the ceremony.
The paper showed a picture of Selvakumar sitting next to his canine bride, which was adorned in an orange sari and flower garland.
The paper said the groom and his family then had a feast, while the dog got a bun.
It was reported that Selvi attempted to make a bolt for it -- apparently due to the big crowds -- but she was tracked down and returned to her new 'husband'.
"The dog is only for lifting the curse and after that, he plans to get a real bride," a friend of the groom said.
Deeply superstitious people in rural India sometimes organize weddings to dogs and other animals, believing it can beat certain curses.

Kisah Benar… Ibu Bunuh Bayi Kandungnya Demi Selamatkan Ribuan Jiwa
Terowongan bawah tanah di desa Cu Chi kini lebih dikenal sebagai tempat wisata sejarah yang menarik dan menantang. Namun, lorong bawah yang menjadi basis perjuangan milisi Vietcong dalam perang melawan Amerika Serikat (1959-1975) menyimpan sejumlah cerita kelam. “Banyak turis yang lebih mengagumi kisah heroik para pejuang Vietcong bersama dengan pasukan Vietnam dalam berperang melawan Prancis dan Amerika yang membantu Vietnam Selatan.
Namun, ada sejumlah kenangan pahit dan penderita yang dirasakan sekitar 10 ribu pejuang dan warga yang harus berpuluh tahun tinggal di lorong sempit dan gelap,” kata Nhi Nguyen, seorang pemandu wisata di Kota Ho Chi Minh. Satu kisah yang menyayat adalah pengorbanan seorang ibu bermarga Le yang terpaksa membunuh seorang anaknya yang baru lahir demi menyelamatkan nasib banyak orang di lorong bawah tanah. Nhi tidak tahu persis kapan kisah ini terjadi, tetapi peristiwa itu berlangsung saat Vietnam berperang melawan Amerika.
“Zaman perang, pemerintah meminta perempuan tidak berhubungan intim dengan pasangannya selama tinggal di terowongan. Namun, seorang perempuan simpatisan Vietcong waktu itu ternyata sudah mengandung,” kata Nhi saat mengantar para turis asal Indonesia dari Kota Ho Chi Minh-populer disebut Saigon-menuju terowongan di desa Cu Chi, yang memakan waktu tempuh lebih dari dua jam.
“Ibu itu terpaksa melahirkan di ruang bawah tanah. Namun, selayaknya bayi yang baru lahir, anak malang itu menangis kencang. Ini sangat berbahaya,” kata Nhi.
“Padahal tangis bayi itu bisa terdengar di atas permukaan tanah. Ini berisiko membuat pasukan Amerika mengetahui dan menyerang terowongan,” lanjut guide yang cukup lancar berbahasa Indonesia itu. Maka, ibu itu tidak ada cara lain menghentikan tangis anaknya selain membunuhnya. “Hidung bayi itu terus dia bekap sampai putranya tak bergerak lagi,” ujar Nhi.
Bagi para komandan dan pejuang Vietcong, langkah ibu Le merupakan tindakan heroik karena bisa menyelamatkan banyak jiwa dari serangan bom artileri dan pesawat tempur Amerika ke terowongan Chu Ci. Namun, perempuan itu menjadi sangat terpukul dan akibatnya fatal.
“Dia merasa sangat kehilangan atas kepergian putranya yang terpaksa dibunuh. Maka, setelah Vietnam bersatu dan merdeka pada 1975, ibu itu jiwanya terganggu lalu bunuh diri,” kata Nhi yang terbawa oleh kisah itu hingga sempat berurai air mata.
Bosnya, Hung Tran, mengungkapkan bahwa kisah itu kini selalu diutarakan para pemandu wisata setiap kali mereka mengantar para turis ke terowongan Cu Chi.
“Masih banyak lagi kisah yang menggambarkan pengorbanan para warga bawah tanah. Banyak di antara mereka yang mati akibat sanitasi buruk dan wabah penyakit. Belum lagi, terkena gigitan binatang dan serangga beracun yang hidup di bawah tanah,” kata Hung.
Selain itu, para warga juga terpaksa menggali terowongan baru yang lebih dalam untuk mencari sumber mata air. “Tindakan itu terpaksa mereka lakukan setelah Amerika merusak sungai Saigon dengan bom Napalm yang mencemari air,” kata Hung.

Pada hari-hari berikutnya, Zahra terus menderita sakit dengan bayi masih didalam rahimnya. Setelah beberapa hari rasa sakit berhenti dan bayi berhenti bergerak.
Dalam budaya Moroko, dipercayai bahawa seorang bayi dapat tidur di dalam ibu untuk melindungi kehormatan. Zahra percaya mitos ini dan meletakkan kehamilan dari pikirannya. akhirnya dia mengadopsi tiga anak dan berharap bisa menjadi nenek.
Bertahun-tahun kemudian, di usia 75 tahun rasa sakit itu tiba-tiba kembali . lalu putra adpsinya membawanya ke seorang spesialis. Untuk ini mereka harus melakukan perjalanan ke Rabat di mana mereka akan bertemu Profesor Taibi Ouazzani. Ia menduga perut buncit itu disebabkan oleh tumor ovarium dan memeriksanya dengan suara ultra-scan. Hal ini menunjukkan massa yang besar bahwa ia tidak bisa mengidentifikasi.
Zahra dirujuk ke dokter spesialis radiografi untuk pendapat kedua. Dia bisa melihat itu adalah struktur calcified dari beberapa macam, tidak lama kemudian scan MRI mengungkapkan bahwa bayi Zahra telah mengandung 46 tahun sebelumnya.
Zahra mengalami kehamilan ektopik di mana telur telah tertanam dalam tabung tuba. Janin yang berkembang, meledak keluar dari tabung tuba dan terus berkembang dalam rongga perut. Berhasil bertahan dengan melampirkan itu plasenta ke organ-organ vital di sekeliling perutnya.
Profesor Ouazzania dihadapkan dengan keputusan yang sulit ketika memutuskan apakah akan aman untuk mencoba dan menghilangkan janin dengan berat 7lb dan panjang 42cm itu.
operasi tetap dilakukan dan ditemukan bahwa janin telah calcified dan menjadi keras, benjolan padat. Saat itu, pada dasarnya,fakta tentang bayi jadi batu karna telah menyatu dengan dinding perut dan organ-organ vital.
Setelah hampir 4 jam para dokter bedah berhasil mengeluarkan janin dari calcified Zahra dan operasi dipuji sukses.

Difference Between Bacteria and Virus
1. Viruses are the smallest and simplest life form known. They are 10 to 100 times smaller than bacteria.
2. The biggest difference between viruses and bacteria is that viruses must have a living host - like a plant or animal - to multiply, while most bacteria can grow on non-living surfaces.

Difference Between Zakat and Tax
Zakat and Tax are two completely different concepts. Tax is collected from every person of a country or area by the government of the country or area. Are we there yet?: Couple travel the world for 11 years having four children along the way...and they're still going
For most families, a long car journey is the bane of any trip.
But for the Zapp's, their 83-year-old vehicle has become a home for the last 11 years, as they travel around the world on a never ending trip of a lifetime.
Spanning four continents, Herman and Candelaria Zapp have covered an incredible 142,000 miles while becoming parents to Pampa, eight, Tehue, five, Paloma, three and Wallaby, one.

Intrepid: The couple have faced many obstacles on their continuous journey. Here Herman Zapp balances the 1928 Graham-Paige vintage car in 2000 as it is ferried across the Amazon. Instead of returning home to buy a house, the couple decided to keep driving and show their family the sights of the world.
Former IT specialist Herman, 42, and his wife Candelaria, 40, set off from Argentina in 2000 and began driving across South and North America, as well as Australia, New Zealand and now Asia.
Herman, who was born in San Francisco, moved to Argentina to work on his grandfather's cattle ranch when he was a boy.
While in Argentina, 10-year-old Herman met his child hood sweet-heart Candelaria when she was only 8, and the couple have been together ever since.
They married in 1996.
When the money quickly ran out on their first trip, they decided to rely on the kindness of other people who give them shelter, food and petrol.
'We were happy, we had everything a young couple could want, but we felt we had to go,' said Herman, currently in the Philippines with his family.
'My grandfather knew that we wanted to travel and to never stop so he gave me the old Graham-Paige car he used on his farm and gave me some advice.
'He told me, 'If you want to get far, you need to go slowly', so what could be better than a vintage car.'

They began in 2000, setting off from Patagonia, Argentina to Alaska.
After returning to Argentina in 2004, they settled down for a couple of weeks before deciding that they missed travelling too much and had to get going again.
They have been travelling ever since, with a trip around South America between 2005 and 2007, then central America, the U.S. and Canada until 2009.
The car was shipped to Australia, New Zealand, Japan and South Korea as they travelled those countries and they are currently in the Philippines on a tour of South East Asia.
The longest they have spent in any one country was the 13 month trip around the U.S. in 2008-9.

Each night the six Zapps either sleep in or around a tent set up next to their car, but more often than not they find a friendly local who will put them up for the night.

Only the beginning: The family celebrate the end of their first trip from Argentina to Alasaka in 2002.The children are home schooled by their parents through an on-line service that gives them a regularly updated curriculum.
Every time they stop and are near a computer they print off the latest classes and teach them to their kids.
'What better way is there for my children to be educated than to see the world,' said Herman.
They see the kangaroo jump and a grizzly bear roar in their natural environment.
'My children have seen the space shuttle take off and have learnt different words in different languages and experienced so many different cultures.'
During the first trip to Alaska they printed the first book, Dream Chaser, which was the best selling book of the International Book Fair of Costa Rica.
The couple sold 12,000 copies since and their second, 'Spark Your Dream', is a best seller in Argentina following its 2005 publication.
And as for any plans of stopping - 'We have driven almost the distance to The Moon from Earth and we aim to keep going,' Herman said.

in Oct 2010, i disahkan mengandung, i was very happy....
my first check up at 5 weeks, doc scan tak nampak apa2...lagipun i ada titled uterus.
then semuany ok n tiba-tiba at 6 weeks 3 days i ternampak 2 titik cecair coklat di seluar, i dah sedih, the next day pegi klinik biasa, doctor ckp normal spotting bcs early pregnancy, i dah ok je.....
2 hari selepas tu bleeding pulak, jumpa doctor....doctor buat vaginal scan nampak sac but angat kecil....doktor cakap jangan hope sgt then bagi ubat duphaston utuk kuatkan rahim....
dua hari selepas tu tiba-tiba sakit perut mcm nak period, keluar satu tisu besar, dah agak dah......then pergi jumpa doktor, doctor sahkan i dah keguguran :( ....sac pun dah keluar naturally so no need D&C....emmm
lepas tu dua minggu berpantang, sampai skrg belum peknen lagi.... sedih sedih....
Tanda-Tanda yang bahaya semasa peknen ialah:
1. Sakit perut mcm nak period walaupun dah tahu peknen...Org yang peknen normal tak akan rasa apa-apa.

A farmer is sitting in the neighborhood bar slowly getting drunk.
A man comes in and asks the farmer,
"Hey, why are you sitting here on this beautiful day getting drunk?
" The farmer says,
"Some things you just can't explain."
"So what happened that is so horrible?" the man asked.
The farmer then decides to try and answer,
"Well if you must know, today I was sitting by my cow milking her.
Just as I got the bucket about full,
she took her left leg and kicked it over."
That's not so bad, what's the big deal?"
The farmer says, "Some things you just can't explain."
"Try me" the man says.
The farmer relenting, continued
"I took her left leg and tied it to the post on the left with some rope.
Then I sat down and continued to milk her.
Just as I got the bucket about full
she took her right leg and kicked it over."
"Ok so 2 buckets of milk spilled. That still isn't that bad."
The farmer says, "Some things you just can't explain."
" So, what did you do then?"
the man asked, intrigued.
"I took her right leg and tied it to the post on the right.
I sat back down and continued to milk her,
and just as I got the bucket just about full,
the stupid cow knocked over the bucket with her tail."
"Wow, you must have been pretty upset!"
but that's no reason to just sit here getting all depressed."

so I took off my belt and tied her tail to the rafter.
That's when my pants fell down and my wife walked in.

Special Delivery...Touching Story
Special Delivery
Sally jumped up as soon as she saw the Surgeon come out of the operating room, saying: "How is my little boy? Is he going to be O.K.? When can I see him?"
The surgeon responded, "I'm sorry, we did all we could." Sally said, "Why do little children get cancer, doesn't GOD care any more? GOD, where were you when my son needed you?"
The surgeon softly told her, "One of the nurses will be out in a few minutes to let you spend time with your son's remains before it's transported to the university".
Sally asked that the nurse stay with her while she said good-bye to her son. As she ran her fingers through his thick red curly hair, the nurse said, "Would you like a lock of his hair?"
Sally nodded yes. The nurse cut a lock of his hair and put it in a plastic bag and handed it to Sally.
She gazed at her son’s body as she spoke to the nurse.
"It was Jimmy's idea to give his body to the university for study. He said it might help somebody else, and that is what he wanted. I said, no at first, but Jimmy said, ‘Mom I won't be using it after I die, maybe it will help some other little boy to be able to spend one more day with his mother’. My Jimmy had a heart of gold, always thinking of someone else and always wanting to help others if he could".
Sally walked out of the Children's Hospital for the last time now after spending most of the last 6 months there. She sat the bag with Jimmy's things in it on the seat beside of her in the car. The drive home was hard and it was even harder to go into an empty house. She took the bag to Jimmy's room and started placing the model cars and things back in his room exactly where he always kept them. She lay down across his bed and cried herself to sleep holding his pillow. Sally woke up about midnight and lying beside her on the bed, was a letter folded up.
She opened the letter, it said:
Dear Mom,
I know you're going to miss me, but don't think that I will ever forget you or stop loving you because I'm not around to say I LOVE YOU. I'll think of you every day mom and I'll love you even more each day. Some day we will see each other again. If you want to adopt a little boy so you won't be so lonely, he can have my room and my old stuff to play with. If you decide to get a girl instead, she probably wouldn't like the same things as us boys do, so you will have to buy her dolls and stuff girls like.
Don't be sad when you think about me, this is really a great place. Grandma and Grandpa met me as soon as I got here and showed me around some, but it will take a long time to see everything here.
The Angels are so friendly, and I love to watch them fly. Jesus doesn't look like any of the pictures I saw of Him, but I knew it was Him as soon as I saw Him. Jesus took me to see GOD! And guess what mom? I got to sit on GOD'S knee and talk to Him like I was somebody important. I told GOD that I wanted to write you a letter and tell you good-bye and everything, but I knew that wasn't allowed. God handed me some paper and His own personal pen to write you this letter with. I think Gabriel is the name of the angel that is going to drop this letter off to you. God said for me to give you the answer to one of the questions you asked Him about... “Where was He when I needed him?”
God said, "The same place He was when Jesus was on the cross. He was right there, as He always is with all His children.” Oh, by the way Mom, nobody else can see what is written on this paper but you. To everyone else, it looks like a blank piece of paper.
I have to give God His pen back now, He has some more names to write in the Book Of Life. Tonight I get to sit at the table with Jesus for supper. I'm sure the food will be great. I almost forgot to let you know - now I don't hurt anymore, the cancer is all gone. I'm glad because I couldn't stand that pain anymore and God couldn't stand to see me suffer the pain either, so He sent The Angel of Mercy to get me. The Angel said I was Special Delivery!
Sad Story...Mother And Son......
Mother and Son
My mom only had one eye. I hated her, she was such an embarrassment. My mom ran a small shop at a flea market.She collected little weeds and such to sell, anything for the money we needed she was such an embarrassment.There was this one day during elementary school. I remember that it was field day, and my mom came. I was so embarrassed. How could she do this to me? I threw her a hateful look and ran out. The next day at school..."Your mom only has one eye?!" and they taunted me.
I wished that my mom would just disappear from this world so I said to my mom, "Mom, why don't you have the other eye?! You're only going to make me a laughingstock. Why don't you just die?" My mom did not respond. I guess I felt a little bad, but at the same time, it felt good to think that I had said what I'd wanted to say all this time.
Maybe it was because my mom hadn't punished me, but I didn't think that I had hurt her feelings very badly.
That night...I woke up, and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. My mom was crying there, so quietly, as if she was afraid that she might wake me. I took a look at her, and then turned away. Because of the thing I had said to her earlier, there was something pinching at me in the corner of my heart. Even so, I hated my mother who was crying out of her one eye. So I told myself that I would grow up and become successful, because I hated my one-eyed mom and our desperate poverty.
Then I studied really hard. I left my mother and came to Seoul and studied, and got accepted in the Seoul University with all the confidence I had. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. Then I had kids, too. Now I'm living happily as a successful man. I like it here because it's a place that doesn't remind me of my mom.
This happiness was getting bigger and bigger, when someone unexpected came to see me "What?! Who's this?!"... It was my mother...Still with her one eye. It felt as if the whole sky was falling apart on me. My little girl ran away, scared of my mom's eye.
And I asked her, "Who are you? I don't know you!!!" as if I tried to make that real. I screamed at her "How dare you come to my house and scare my daughter! Get out here now!" And to this, my mother quietly answered, "oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address," and she disappeared. Thank good ness... she doesn't recognize me. I was quite relieved. After the reunion, I went down to the old shack, that I used to call a house...just out of curiosity there, I found my mother fallen on the cold ground. But I did not shed a single tear. She had a piece of paper in her hand.... it was a letter to me.

I think my life has been long enough now. And... I won't visit Seoul anymore... but would it be too much to ask if I wanted you to come visit me once in a while? I miss you so much. And I was so glad when I heard you were coming for the reunion. But I decided not to go to the school.... For you... I'm sorry that I only have one eye, and I was an embarrassment for you.
You see, when you were very little, you got into an accident, and lost your eye. As a mother, I couldn't stand watching you having to grow up with only one eye... so I gave you mine... I was so proud of my son that was seeing a whole new world for me, in my place, with that eye. I was never upset at you for anything you did. The couple times that you were angry with me. I thought to myself, 'it's because he loves me.' I miss the times when you were still young around me.
I miss you so much. I love you. You mean the world to me. My world shattered! Then I cried for the person who lived for me. My Mother.
I wished that my mom would just disappear from this world so I said to my mom, "Mom, why don't you have the other eye?! You're only going to make me a laughingstock. Why don't you just die?" My mom did not respond. I guess I felt a little bad, but at the same time, it felt good to think that I had said what I'd wanted to say all this time.
Maybe it was because my mom hadn't punished me, but I didn't think that I had hurt her feelings very badly.
That night...I woke up, and went to the kitchen to get a glass of water. My mom was crying there, so quietly, as if she was afraid that she might wake me. I took a look at her, and then turned away. Because of the thing I had said to her earlier, there was something pinching at me in the corner of my heart. Even so, I hated my mother who was crying out of her one eye. So I told myself that I would grow up and become successful, because I hated my one-eyed mom and our desperate poverty.
Then I studied really hard. I left my mother and came to Seoul and studied, and got accepted in the Seoul University with all the confidence I had. Then, I got married. I bought a house of my own. Then I had kids, too. Now I'm living happily as a successful man. I like it here because it's a place that doesn't remind me of my mom.
This happiness was getting bigger and bigger, when someone unexpected came to see me "What?! Who's this?!"... It was my mother...Still with her one eye. It felt as if the whole sky was falling apart on me. My little girl ran away, scared of my mom's eye.
And I asked her, "Who are you? I don't know you!!!" as if I tried to make that real. I screamed at her "How dare you come to my house and scare my daughter! Get out here now!" And to this, my mother quietly answered, "oh, I'm so sorry. I may have gotten the wrong address," and she disappeared. Thank good ness... she doesn't recognize me. I was quite relieved. Anneliese Michel enggan makan kerana diarah 'syaitan', selain dapat meramalkan kematiannyaMASIH ingat dengan filem pecah panggung di Amerika Syarikat pada 2005, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, mengisahkan seorang gadis yang dirasuk hantu dan menjalani banyak upacara penyembuhan untuk membebaskannya? Di sebalik kutipan memberangsangkan, ia bukan sekadar penyeri panggung, sebaliknya berdasarkan cerita benar yang dialami seorang wanita muda.
‘Emily Rose’ di alam nyata ialah Anneliese Michel (gambar), seorang wanita cantik yang bakal mempunyai kerjaya dalam bidang pendidikan. Dia dilahirkan pada 21 September 1952 di sebuah kampung kecil di Bavaria. Dibesarkan di Klingenberg am Main, Jerman, dalam keluarga yang taat kepada ajaran Katolik, Anneliese menjalani kehidupan seperti kanak-kanak biasa tetapi semakin taksub kepada agama apabila semakin dewasa.
Pada usia 17 tahun, kehidupan Anneliese bertukar menjadi mimpi ngeri. Dia mula kerap mengalami sawan luar biasa pada waktu malam dan tidak boleh bercakap. Doktor mendapati Anneliese mengalami sawan Grand Mal dan selepas mengalami sawan kali ketiga, dia dimasukkan ke sebuah hospital psikiatri di Mittleberg selama setahun.
Ketika di hospital, Anneliese mula ternampak wajah hantu, terutama ketika upacara keagamaan dan suara memberitahu dia dilaknat. Anneliese yakin keadaannya ada kaitan dengan roh. Dia menggesa pihak gereja mengadakan upacara menghalau roh tetapi mereka enggan berbuat demikian sebaliknya mencadangkan Anneliese lebih mendalami agama.

Dia juga mula mengoyakkan pakaian, menyalak seperti anjing selama beberapa hari pada satu-satu masa serta kencing di atas lantai dan menjilatnya. Anneliese turut merosakkan semua simbol agama.
Lima tahun kemudian, ibu bapa Anneliese berjumpa dengan pelbagai paderi dan meminta mereka mengadakan upacara mengusir roh. Selepas akhirnya mengisytiharkan Anneliese dirasuk hantu pada September 1975, Ketua Paderi Josef Stangl, mengarahkan upacara pengusiran diadakan dan paderi Ernst Alt dan paderi Arnold Renz diarah melakukannya. Antara roh jahat yang dikatakan merasuk Anneliese termasuk Adolf Hitler, Cain, Nero, Judas, Legion, Belial dan Lucifer. Upacara bermula pada September dan berterusan hingga akhir Jun 1976.
Selama 10 bulan upacara itu dilakukan sekali atau dua kali seminggu dan ada kala berlanjutan sehingga empat jam. Dalam banyak sesi, Anneliese menyerang balas sehingga terpaksa dirantai. Ketika ia berlangsung, Anneliese bercakap menggunakan suara syaitan dalam beberapa bahasa berbeza.
Requiem, sebuah lagi filem seram yang dibikin berdasarkan kisah Anneliese MichelKesihatan Anneliese semakin buruk sepanjang upacara itu dijalankan kerana dia enggan makan kononnya hantu tidak membenarkan dia berbuat demikian. Kedua-dua lututnya pecah selepas menghantuknya ke lantai kerana 600 kali.
Anneliese pernah memberikan surat bertulis menyatakan dia tidak mahu lagi meneruskan upacara pengusiran itu. Dia mendakwa didatangi Virgin Mary dan menawarkan dua pilihan - segera bebas daripada rasukan hantu atau membiarkan ia berterusan untuk jangka lebih lama bagi mendedahkan bahaya dan kuasa syaitan kepada dunia dan menyelamatkan banyak jiwa lain.
Anneliese juga diberitahu sebelum kematiannya, dia akan bebas daripada hantu dan meninggal dunia dalam kemuliaan. Anneliese memutuskan untuk membiarkan dia dirasuk dan menghentikan upacara mengusir hantu. Dia juga meramalkan kematiannya.
Pada tengah malam 1 Julai 1976, hari yang diramalkannya, Anneliese tidur dan tidak bangun lagi selepas itu. Laporan bedah siasat menunjukkan dia meninggal dunia kerana kekurangan zat dan kekeringan air dalam badan. Siasatan memutuskan Anneliese dibiarkan kebuluran sehingga mati dan jika dipaksa makan, dia akan selamat. Kedua-dua ibu bapa dan paderi yang terbabit dalam upacara itu didakwa membunuh tanpa niat dan perbicaraan bermula pada Mac 1978.
Di sebalik penayangan beberapa sesi upacara itu yang dirakamkan, keempat-empat mereka didapati bersalah. Sebelum perbicaraan dimulakan, ibu bapa Anneliese meminta mayatnya dikorek semula kerana terpengaruh dengan kenyataan seorang biarawati yang mengatakan mayatnya tidak reput dan menjadi bukti ia adalah kes luar biasa.
Permohonan mengorek semula kubur Anneliese dibenarkan tetapi dikatakan ia reput seperti mayat lain. Pada 25 Februari 1978, mayat Anneliese dipindahkan ke keranda baru dan dikebumi kira-kira 30 meter dari rumahnya.
Kes itu menjadi yang terakhir pengiktirafan rasmi gereja Katolik kepada rasukan hantu dan memberikan keizinan upacara pengusiran dilakukan. Dalam kata akhirnya kepada paderi, Anneliese memberi amaran kepada mereka supaya ‘memohon pengampunan’, sementara kata-kata terakhir kepada ibunya ketika Anneliese sedang nazak ialah: “Emak, saya takut.”

Tips For A Good Night's Sleep
Set a schedule:
Go to bed at a set time each night and get up at the same time each morning. Disrupting this schedule may lead to insomnia. “Sleeping in” on weekends also makes it harder to wake up early on Monday morning because it re-sets your sleep cycles for a later awakening.
Exercise:
Try to exercise 20 to 30 minutes a day. Daily exercise often helps people sleep, although a workout soon before bedtime may interfere with sleep. For maximum benefit, try to get your exercise about 5 to 6 hours before going to bed.
Avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol:
Avoid drinks that contain caffeine, which acts as a stimulant and keeps people awake. Sources of caffeine include coffee, chocolate, soft drinks, non-herbal teas, diet drugs, and some pain relievers. Smokers tend to sleep very lightly and often wake up in the early morning due to nicotine withdrawal. Alcohol robs people of deep sleep and REM sleep and keeps them in the lighter stages of sleep.
Relax before bed:
A warm bath, reading, or another relaxing routine can make it easier to fall sleep. You can train yourself to associate certain restful activities with sleep and make them part of your bedtime ritual.
Sleep until sunlight:
If possible, wake up with the sun, or use very bright lights in the morning. Sunlight helps the body’s internal biological clock reset itself each day. Sleep experts recommend exposure to an hour of morning sunlight for people having problems falling asleep.
Don’t lie in bed awake:
If you can’t get to sleep, don’t just lie in bed. Do something else, like reading, watching television, or listening to music, until you feel tired. The anxiety of being unable to fall asleep can actually contribute toinsomnia.
Control your room temperature:
Maintain a comfortable temperature in the bedroom. Extreme temperatures may disrupt sleep or prevent you from falling asleep.
See a doctor if your sleeping problem continues:
If you have trouble falling asleep night after night, or if you always feel tired the next day, then you may have a sleep disorder and should see a physician. Your primary care physician may be able to help you; if not, you can probably find a sleep specialist at a major hospital near you. Most sleep disorders can be treated effectively, so you can finally get that good night’s sleep you need.
